by Fiona Scott November 23rd, 2009
Customers looking at renting a car around the world, particularly in South America may be interested to know that car hire giant Sixt has opened up its first car hire office in Peru.
The company has said that it hopes to be able to supply younger drivers who are visiting the South American country on their gap year, the opportunity to take advantage of its car hire service.
Sixt has said that it wishes to concentrate its effort in Peru on offering car hire to those who would need a car for long periods of time, and that their ability to offer long-term hire would be especially enticing for travellers who would be staying in Peru for more than just a few days.
The new Peru office comes after the company launched their car hire service in Mexico just two months ago, with Sixt now providing deals on rental cars to holidaymakers in South American countries including Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rico and now Mexico and Peru.
Detlef Krehahn, director and vice president of Sixt, said that the new outlet in Peru would supply business travellers with access to the firms hire vehicles and that the company wished to further its reach throughout the travel community and focus more on tourists and their travel needs.
Krehahn continued by saying that Sixt was proud that they could now offer almost nationwide services and provide customer with a high quality vehicle that is both reasonably priced and can deliver exceptional performance.
