The chief executive of Etihad Airways, James Hogan, said that Frankfurt, Germany has been one of Etihad Airways’ most successful destinations for a long time. This is due to its strong volumes of business and leisure passengers that travel both to and from that area. He went on to say that Abu Dhabi’s geographical location makes it the perfect place to serve as a gateway to other areas like Australia, the Far East and the Middle East.

These brand new flights will now ensure that passengers flying out of Frankfurt, Germany will be able to choose from more than 80 connecting flights into of Abu Dhabi with transit times of less than four hours. This does include Johannesburg, Cape Town, Beijing, and Kathmandu.
