Thrifty, a Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group subsidiary, is offering travel agents in Canada and the United States a 20% off discount on the next car that they hire. They can go to any of the Thrifty locations in Canada and the United States to redeem their discount if they are an agent with an IATA or IATAN card. In order to get the discount, they have to print the coupon for the 20% off. Then all they have to do is book their hire and take the coupon with them, along with the valid card, to the counter at the car hire location to have the discount applied.

Greg Billingsley, the Director of Consortia Development and Travel Industry Sales, said that they appreciate all the business that their travel agent partners send to the Thrifty brand, and they hope that the agents will accept their heartfelt thanks by taking advantage of the special savings that they are offering for their next car hire.

It is required that the agents make their booking 24 hours in advance in order to get the discount, and the discount for the travel agents only applies to the time and mileage. Also, the 20% is obtainable on all of the standard rates for any of the cars from all of the locations in Canada and the United States that are participating. Travel agents can’t use the discount with any other promotional or discount offer. Furthermore, they must also meet the minimum requirements for age, their credit, and as a driver.
