American Express has given their signature in an agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group, which will allow American Express to give its customers of the corporate card reports that take their lodging expenditures and break them down for almost 2,800 InterContinental Hotels Group properties in the United States. The new agreement will provide the corporate clients of American Express with a new power to manage their business travels and entertainment costs better, which will help them save money. Jay Cary, the Vice President of Interactive Product Management for the Global Commercial Card from American Express, said that they are building their capability aggressively to offer their clients of the corporate card the details that they need for the expenses of lodging to provide them the ability to analyze their costs and find new ways for saving money. They are pleased to provide their clients a lodging costs breakdown from InterContinental Hotels Group.
Corporate card customers with American Express will get reports of expenditures by booking their accommodations with an InterContinental Hotels Group hotel, including others. The arrangement with InterContinental Hotels Group will add to the other folio agreements the credit card company already has with other top hotel chains in the industry. Jill Cady, the Vice President of Worldwide Sales Strategy at InterContinental Hotels Group, said that they are happy to offer this agreement to their business traveling customers who stay at their hotels so that they can manage their travel spending better, and with such a large distribution of almost 2,800 properties just in the United States, a lot of their corporate customers will be benefited from this deal.
