Apparently Germany may be unstoppable this year. This news comes just as Germany crushed Argentina to move within two victories of its first World Cup title since way back in 1990. Fans of football are turning out in the tens of thousands on the streets of Berlin and Munich to watch one of the best German soccer teams ever put together.

Just recently Germany won a very huge victory over Argentina 4-0. This beating took place last Saturday and means that Germany will now move on to the Semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup. The Argentine forward, Carlos Tevez, said that they did what they knew they were capable of doing. The coach for Argentina simply said that he felt like he was just hit by Muhammad Ali.

The German Striker, Miroslav Klose, was able to score two of the goals in the victory. This now brings the amount of goals that he has scored for this World Cup up to 14. This now ties the German record held by Gerd Mueller. It also leaves Klose just one goal shy of tying the World Cup record for most goals during a World Cup, which is currently held by Brazil’s Ronaldo. Klose has a good shot at beating this record.

The two other goals were scored by Thomas Mueller and Arne Friedrich. Germany took the lead in the third minute and never looked back to see if Argentina was still even in the game. The coach for the German team said that it was a motivated and tactically flawless performance.
