easyJet Appoints Ali Gayward to be New Commercial Manager

Just recently, the well known airline easyJet has just appointed Ali Gayward as its brand new commercial manager. Ail will lead and deliver the commercial performance of easyJet’s North West, Yorkshire and Northern Ireland bases. She will be developing routes and scheduling, as well as researching local market intelligence to optimize the network.

Ali Gayward joins forces with easyJet following three years at Airport Strategy and Marketing Ltd. This is a route development company for airports. While at Airport Strategy and Marketing Ltd, Ali carried out a number of high priority roles, including Airline Relations Director. Here she was responsible for understanding and defining strategy for airlines and tour operators worldwide.

Ali Gayward boasts a remarkable air travel background, including 19 years at American Airlines. She held roles such as Head of Sales Development UK and Ireland, where she managed relations with UK and Ireland travel agencies and also developed new route opportunities throughout all of Europe. She was also responsible for overseeing a strong team of national sales mangers.

The new Commercial Manager for easyJet said that she is looking forward to taking on this new role in her life. She is happy to be working with the UK’s largest airline. Her priority will be to build upon easyJet’s reputation as a leading low fares airline by maintaining the success of existing routes and successfully open up new destinations to the region.
