The well known IT company, Conferma, has just recently signed a partnership deal with AirPlus International, which is a travel payment specialist company. Under this new agreement, customers will be provided with a new automated payment system for hotel bookings.

The AirPlus Conferma Hotel Settlement Solution will be available to customers in the UK starting at the end of April via their TMC or hotel booking agency. A joint statement from AirPlus International and Conferma that went out on March 18th said that customers would receive a virtual card with a unique number for each hotel booking. This booking is then billed back to the virtual card, which will automatically make the required payment. This system will also capture additional data, including the customer’s cost center, budget codes and employee ID.

The managing director of AirPlus International, Yael Klein, said that by partnering with Conferma, AirPlus International is able to offer a specialized hotel settlement solution to its customers. This will provide them with greater transparency through enhanced invoice data.

Conferma’s chief executive, Simon Barker, went on to say that the partnership supported its strategy to provide TMC’s and their corporate customers access to their products by working with respected and established partners. This is why Conferma is happy to be working with AirPlus International.

New partnerships like this are popping up everyday and more than likely will continue to do so. Ever since the travel market was hit hard by the global recession, companies have been trying to change the way that they do business. Overall, this means that a lot of companies are making new partnerships that they have not had in the past.
