Europcar launches 50 per cent off promotion

Now that the Christmas season has come and gone, car rental company Europcar is helping brush away the winter blues with special deals to ring in the New Year, which could see the cost of car rentals slashed by up to 50 per cent.

The January 2010 specials include free delivery to those who hire a car for two days or more, and could be used for a number of activities including a weekend break away in the country, driving around the city to make the most of the post-Christmas bargains or even doing some sightseeing to some places that you’ve always promised to visit.

The promotion comes at just the right time for UK customers who have been forced to deal with recession and financial insecurities in the last 12 months.  Many families had been forced to downsize the family car to save on fuel costs or even sell the second car.  With 50 per cent off car hire, it will provide more freedom for those to do whatever they wish.

January is usually the cheapest month for car hire in the UK, so after spending all that money on discounts around town; it would come in handy for most of us.

The 50 per cent off deal runs through until the end of June, but bookings must be made before the 31st of January.  Some dates will be excluded from booking, so call or visit their website prior to booking.
