In an unfortunate turn of events for Ryanair, it seems that, as one of the most famous airlines in the UK, they has been given the name of Britain’s Worst Family Brand. This title was given in a study that was done that ranks the UK’s biggest and best known companies.

Ryanair, which is a no frills airline, is seen as doing very little to promote family values. Consumers who took part in the study also say that the airline doesn’t seems to care or listen to its customers. Almost 100 famous firms from Asad to Andrex were ranked by 1,500 Britons. The consumers were asked to rank companies on how they treat families and on their social responsibilities.

Out of the whole list, Ryanair came out on the bottom while Marks & Spencer came out as the best. Some other companies that were able to place in the bottom ten included Royal Bank of Scotland, Twitter, and Playstation.

However, airlines were not the only industry being picked on. Apparently the fast food industry ranked pretty low on the list as well. Places like Domino’s and Burger King are placed low on the list. Of course, airlines were able to beat out the fast food industry as being the worst family brands. Other airlines like British Midland, easyJet, and BMI Baby all placed near the bottom of the list.

Ryanair has been under fire a lot recently and even criticized for charging people £5 per person per flight just to buy a ticket on a credit card. Apparently these are the kind of “values” that people do not consider good family values.
