Europcar launches new member benefits programme
by Natalie Cooper November 26th, 2009
Those who frequently make use of hire cars may be interested to know that Europcar has launched their new member benefits programme, EuropcarClub, following a successful roll out in France last year.
The new programme brings a fresh approach to car clubs, and is a subscription based service with two tiers, Easy and Premium. The new service is ideal for those who have decided to opt out of a second car ownership, but still wish to maintain the flexibility of different cars to suit different demands or for those who are looking for a greener way to drive.
EuropcarClub also offers a solution to businesses who want to avoid the financial commitment of leasing or buying company cars.
The launch of EuropcarClub comes off the back of research conducted by the company which found that Britons are most open to the idea of car sharing.
The EuropcarClub subscription offers members a low rate on daily hire of any vehicle with no additional charges for excess cover, one way hires or additional drivers who are also members. Members of the Premium service will also get discounted rates on all vehicles, including the prestige range which offers some of the most coveted vehicles on the road.
Marketing Director for Europcar in the UK, Catriona Lougher, said that the Club is aimed to be flexible and cost-effective, giving members the ability to change cars on demand, leave a vehicle at any Europcar location and benefit from fantastic rates all year long.
She concluded by saying the concept took the company to the next level, pointing out Europcar’s commitment to remain at the forefront of delivering transport solutions to meet the needs of today’s customer.
