Madrid Airport is located 8 miles NE of Madrid and won the RIBA Sterling Prize 2006 for its fabulous architecture. There are 3 terminals, 2 runways and a satellite building area. In 2007 the airport served 52,143,275 passengers.

Terminal 1 is the largest and easiest terminal to find your way around. Shopping in terminal 1 can be fun; they have fashion boutiques full of beautiful clothing. You might want to buy an extra suitcase.

Madrid airport has well over 100 shops you can visit, and more than 30 restaurants to cure whatever craving you experience.

There are 22 information counters and well over a 100 skycaps waiting to assist you.

For the  business traveler there is a conference and business room in Terminal 2 and  5 fully equipped meeting rooms to use at your convenience. All of the  terminals have VIP lounges equipped with wireless internet for you to enjoy.

Some of the most trusted and well known car hire companies can be found at Madrid airport. It has the services of National, Avis, Europcar and Hertz. Their counters are located in terminals 1,2 and 4. Two banks, a post office and ATM’s are available inside the airport.

A playground for the children is at the airport along with nurseries and pharmacies. You can visit the chapel and calm your soul while you wait for your next flight. There’s a free shuttle bus that can get you between terminals.

Parking at the airport is no problem because we have seven public parking areas. Long and short term parking is allowed.
