Dublin Airport is located 8 miles north of Dublin City and is just off the M1 Motorway. There is only 1 terminal; so the arrival and departures are in the same building. The airport is the largest in Ireland and is a main gateway with flights going to and from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.

The Information Desk where you will check in is located in the main Departure Hall on the upper level area of the airport. The car hire companies at the airport are in the main area of the airport; with the exception of the ones that can be reached by shuttle buses. ATM machines are located in the Arrivals Area, Departure Area and in the Car Park area. There are 4 currency exchange machine available in the airport. There is a wide variety of stores to shop in; some of these being House of Ireland, Louis Copeland, Sunglass Hut and Sky Music. Newspapers and Book Shops are located through the airport.

On the Mezzanine floor you will find a large restaurant area with all the well known franchisees such as McDonalds and O’Briens. There are also other eating places through out the airport. On both sides of the airport you will find the bars.
