Cape Town is also known as the Mother City of Africa and is one of the most gorgeous regions in the world. With its many scenic seascapes and beautiful beaches it is a favorite and inexpensive tourist destination.

Cape Town International Airport is South Africa’s second largest airport and won the “Skytrax Best Airport” award in 2005. It also won the “World Traveler Award” for the last seven years. Our airport is also the gateway to Southern Africa’s Top tourist destinations and handles some 8,5 million passengers. The airport is located 22k east of Cape Town and is usually passengers’ first encounter with South Africa.

Information desks for the international and domestic terminal are located in the Arrivals Area and are there to assist you. They will help you with all your questions and needs.

Throughout the airport you will find various shopping stores. A pharmacy, accessories, bookshop, gift shop and candy shop are there for your convenience. A Wine shop is in the International Departure area.

Restaurants, cafes, bar and grill, juice bar, and other such eating places can be found throughout the airport.

A post office, bank and ATMs are located in various locations.  If you are here on business and need access to a meeting room you will find the business facilities in the Domestic Arrivals area.

Europcar, Avis, Imperial, Budget, Dollar, National , Alamo, Tempest and Hertz are all represented at Cape Town airport. Car hire can be a great option as it provides you with the freedom to see and do all that Cape Town has to offer. If you choose not to rent your own vehicle there are busses and an airport shuttle service that provide transport to and from the city centre.
