Amsterdam Airport Schiphol acts as the major airport leading to Netherlands. Almost 47 million passengers have passed through the airport every year. The airport has only one terminal, which helps lessen the inconvenience of moving from one place to another especially for first timers. The airport also has different amenities that attract not only tourists but locals as well.
Within the airport, there are car rentals at the Schiphol Airport such as Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, Dollar, and Europcar that offer their services as well as cheap car rentals. It is better for you to have your own vehicle when visiting Netherlands and its cities since you can travel at your own pace.
Netherlands has numerous attractions. Among the places that should be included in your itinerary are the various museums such as the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. The Rijksmuseum is the oldest museum in Amsterdam, and it is here that you can find different artworks that tell something about the history of the country. The Van Gogh museum is where most of his artworks are displayed. There is also the house of Anne Frank where she wrote her diary during World War II. The Madurodam provides a miniature of the city itself.
