I’ve tried traveling in Switzerland once before with a tour group and I must tell you, I found it as much of a hassle that I had to follow people around and I was always worried that the “last 5 minutes” call would already come. I have always wanted to travel the world in my own pace and my own time, see what I wanted to see, discover what others may have not yet discovered, and do what I actually found interesting—as long as I wanted.

And then a friend of mine told me about car rental in Switzerland. He told me that car rentals were very popular in so many places. You could have yourself picked up from an airport or wherever and then you can go wherever you want! And that, my friends, costs a lot more cheaper than engaging in a tour package which won’t actually get you as much as when you drive your own car. And so I tried it—I traveled by car in Switzerland, specifically in Geneva, and I was able to go around all the galleries, restaurants and museums I wanted to go to—yes, without having to follow any schedules.
